The Dedham Public Schools are looking for Educational Interventionists at the Dedham Middle School. This is a one year only position for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications:

• MA DESE License (Preferred)

Job Goal: 

To provide a supplemental educational program designed for students whose academic attainment is below the level appropriate for children of their age or grade level.

Essential Job Functions:

• Implement developmentally appropriate activities and strategies, within classrooms and in separate settings, which support literacy and math.
• Collaborate regularly with building based student assistance team.
• Provide an environment of acceptance that supports and respects each child's gender, culture, language and ethnicity.
• Assess student growth and progress through standardized and developmental assessments.
• Review student data to inform instruction.
• Maintain accurate and current student records.
• Develop annual requests for materials and supplies to support established curriculum.

• Collaborate with other specialists and share pertinent information with building administration and intervention teams.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or his/her designee.
